The NFL free agency period and the NFL Draft have gone, but San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo remains a member of the team.

After picking Trey Lance No. 3 overall last year, most people anticipated the team to move on from the 30-year-old by now and fully embark in the new era.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan was questioned about quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo‘s current condition at a press conference. Garoppolo is currently rehabbing from the right shoulder surgery he had earlier in the summer.

Jimmy Garoppolo to be traded?

“I expect him at some time, most likely, to be traded, but who knows? That’s not a guarantee,” Shanahan said. “It’s been on hold when (surgery) happened. When he’s healthy, we will see what happens.”
