
<p>Tuesday, July 19, 2022, will be another edition of the <strong><a href="https://news.thesportsdrop.com/mlb/mlb-news-dodgers-david-price-opens-up-about-retirement-rumors-2025-20220705-SPD-2025.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MLB All-Star Game</a></strong>. The Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles will host the All-Star Game for the second time, after hosting the <a href="https://news.thesportsdrop.com/mlb/mlb-news-phillies-bryce-harper-out-indefinitely-after-breaking-left-thumb-1809-20220626-SPD-1809.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Midsummer Classic</a> in 1980.</p>



<p>The game will once again feature the pennant-winning managers from the previous season in both the American and National leagues. As a result, Astros manager Dusty Baker will take charge of the American League, while Braves manager Brian Snitker will oversee the National League.</p>



<p>While fans elect the team’s starting lineup, players and the commissioner’s office are responsible for selecting the team’s backup lineup. Managers are no longer involved in any way.</p>
