Tuesday, July 19, 2022, will be another edition of the MLB All-Star Game. The Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles will host the All-Star Game for the second time, after hosting the Midsummer Classic in 1980.
The game will once again feature the pennant-winning managers from the previous season in both the American and National leagues. As a result, Astros manager Dusty Baker will take charge of the American League, while Braves manager Brian Snitker will oversee the National League.
While fans elect the team’s starting lineup, players and the commissioner’s office are responsible for selecting the team’s backup lineup. Managers are no longer involved in any way.
