Ahead of Year Two, Jones once again has to prove how high his ceiling could be and whether he can really become the leader the Patriots need. According to wideout Jakobi Meyers, that won’t be a problem for Jones.

“I know him and the coaches have been doing a great job of relaying information to us, but ultimately when we’re out there, he tells us. And we ask him like, ‘How do you want it? Where do you want us to be? When do you want us to be there?’



“He’s been really adamant about what he says. He has a clear vision in his mind. It’s real easy to work with him because he puts us in the right direction and we’ve just gotta catch the balls he throws.”



Bill Belichick seemed sold on Jones from day one, and it was only a matter of time before he won the locker room as well. When the season gets underway in September, he’ll have to prove them right.

In one of the most controversial plays in recent years, the visitors recovered the football as Brady lost it after a tackle. Even though it looked like a fumble, the officials determined it was an incomplete pass, which allowed the Patriots to keep possession. New England later won the game, and the rest is history.



However, more than 20 years later, Brady hilariously suggested the play might have been a fumble. “The Tuck Rule Game against the Raiders,” Brady said, then looked around pretending to check there was no one listeling, and whispered, “might have been a fumble.”

The Greater Boston region is home to the New England Patriots, an American football franchise. It’s a member team of the American Football Conference (AFC) East division of the National Football League. The Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts is where the New England Patriots play their home games.



Before entering the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football League (AFL) in 1970, the Boston Patriots were an AFL original member. In 1971, the Patriots relocated from Boston to Foxborough, where they have played since.



The New England Patriots were renamed as part of the transfer. Foxboro Stadium hosted home games until 2002 when the stadium was destroyed to make way for Gillette Stadium, which opened at the same time. During the same year, the team started playing home games at Gillette Stadium.

With six Super Bowl victories, the New England Patriots are tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl wins. Bill Belichick and Tom Brady led the Pats to unprecedented success from 2001 through 2019 as the team’s head coach and quarterback.
