Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry was honored with the first Magic Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP award on Friday night.

Averaging 23.4 points and 7.4 assists per game, Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a 4-1 series win against the Dallas Mavericks.

At Oracle Arena, the Warriors claimed a 120-110 victory to wrap up the series.

Another award for Curry

Curry’s legacy is mostly established. He has won three championships, two league MVP awards, two scoring crowns, multiple three-point shooting records, and is considered the best shooter in the history of the game.

Despite this, Steph has yet to win a championship MVP award. With only one MVP trophy, Curry will be elevated to a new level of NBA greatness.
