With the Cleveland Browns, Jadeveon Clowney is certain he can win a Super Bowl. The defensive end re-signed with the organization to be a part of their historic first-ever Super Bowl championship squad in Cleveland.
“I just want to chase that Super Bowl. We had a great defense last year. We went out and got some more key players on offense and defense, and I feel like we’ve got a shot.
“I know what I’m dealing with and I know who I got. I know what we can do together. I’m just hoping we can take that step forward and get where we need to get this season.”Jadeveon Clowney said on the Browns’ Best Podcast Available
Why Clowney re-signed with Cleveland
After going the whole 2020 season without recording a single sack, Clowney made a strong comeback with the Browns in 2019. Sacked nine times in 2021, culminating with 37 tackles, 19 QB hits, and two fumble recoveries as a solid backup to Myles Garrett.
